What’s your favorite place on O‘ahu?
My favorite place on Oahu, by far, is Kailua Beach. I love it in the early morning, and always think “Lucky to Live Hawaii.”

My favorite hike is the Likeke Trail, because of the waterfall at the end. Somehow limiting the number of people per day on each trail, to lessen the crowds, would make it a better experience…
Why do you live, work or play in Chinatown? Why is Chinatown worth revitalizing?
The history, architecture and artsy feel of Honolulu’s Chinatown appeal to my sense of humanity, aesthetics and community. The narrow streets create a neighborhood feel, where waving to the chef from across the street is what you do.
